Trips for Taste

This would probably be Singapore’s version of mild Halo-halo. Mild because it only has got a couple of ingredients, probably just ice, milk and red bean. So I decided to add taro ice cream on top –which is also a milder version of Ube (purple yam). You could say this was my desperate attempt to chase for halo-halo but it’s not even half as good. It doesn’t taste bad, it’s just that it’s too plain for me. I would love lots of flavors and different ingredients so this was just a little something to attempt my own craving. The good thing was it wasn’t very sweet.
It’s a busy little place along Liang Seah Street especially at nights, where the youth are starting to line up for some desserts. It might be popular among locals and some tourists but I didn’t find anything remarkable to this place. Whatever desserts they’re serving can also be found somewhere else. But probably what makes it click is they offer a lot of desserts. It’s comprehensive and where most likely each customer would have something to prefer for him or her self.
Desserts will never hurt you so I think dropping here is fine. I just don’t see it as a must-go-to place.
